Sewing Machine

I am working at the county extension office and we had a lady donated her sewing machine, 3 large trash bags of fabric, couple shoe boxes of button, zippers, lace and everything else you could think of.  The sewing machine is a Bernina 800.  I think it was made in the 70's.  Anywho, my wonderful co-workers decided that I needed to have it.

SO I GOT AN AMAZING BERNINA SEWING MACHINE FOR FREE!!!

It is in great condition.  She has taken really good care of it.  I have been talking to my co-workers about my sudden desire to sew, so THANK YOU SO MUCH ANDI & DEB for letting me give it a good home!  I'm so excited to start sewing again.

Old people are the best to get stuff from coz they care for them. Good luck with it.
By the way, that quilt was beautiful, i think you will put that sewing machine to good use.

That is SOOOO awesome! I jealous! Even though I've got my own already! hehe I think that the old-school Bernina's are great...they are in it for the long haul! :) I've got a 810 or 830, something like that...and I love it! I've had it for over 10 years, and it's never given me problems...I bought it used for a pretty penny, too! So, consider yourself lucky!

What extension office do you work at? What do you do? That is so awesome! I loved when I worked at the extension offices both in Soda, and in Brigham City...it was such a GREAT job! Do you work with Debbie White?...or who is "Deb"? Anyway...have fun sewing!!!
SO jealous of your sewing skills. Can you teach me one day?

That is great. It is funny because mom my has that exact same machine. Even the cover is the same. It is what I learned on and still works great. You have a good machine on your hands.
