Things you see at the

Here in Alaska, the fair is a BIG deal. We have been talking all summer about the size of the fruits and veggies at the fair. It was fun to finally get to see them.

The pumpkin weighed in at 907 lbs.
The record for the pumpkin is over a 1,000 lbs.

The squash weight in at 328 lbs.

And the giant cabbage weighting at 79.1 lbs.

Alaskans are proud of their crops!!!

Also only in Alaska can you find a reindeer in with the livestock.

Sad that we won't be here next year for the fair...hopefully the Idaho State Fair is exciting.
